Raleigh is Growing was proud to bring Raleigh Fashion Fest to Cary’s newest district, Fenton on Thursday, October 20th from 5pm – 9pm. The Fall Fashion Fest benefited The Women’s Center for the second time this year. Boasting more than 80 local businesses, partners, and sponsors, Raleigh Fashion Fest at Fenton welcomed more than 1,500 guests!

Community Impact

After raising over $10,000 in the Spring to serve and assist marginalized, at-risk, and homeless women in the Triangle, the focus for the Fall was on community engagement first and dollars raised second. As The Women’s Center cannot do what they do without the help of over 3,000 volunteers a year!

Together, Fenton, its store owners, and local businesses worked in collaboration with Raleigh Fashion Fest to bring about awareness, volunteer engagement, fundraising opportunities, and new donors to The Women’s Center. To date, this event raised over $6,500 plus more than 10 new partnerships! The impact was truly priceless good will for this non-profit organization that impacts women in the Triangle. And the impact doesn’t stop! Thank you to everyone who stepped up in a major way to support homeless and at-risk women and The Women’s Center.

VIP Experiences

It was easy to find Raleigh Fashion Fest as we took over Fenton Square and Main Street! RaleighPOP Balloons made sure our check-in area was not missed plus added balloon installations throughout to be sure everyone had the best photo ops!

As Fashion Supporters entered the event, Wine Water was there to provide Welcome Drinks! Wine Water is a refreshing combination of dry, French wine blended with pure, sparkling water, with just 69 calories and 4.9% ALC it’s the drink wine lovers will keep coming back for.

For our VIPs and GA guests alike, Trophy Brewing and Young Hearts Distillery were there for Welcome Cocktails and Beers. Young Hearts is downtown Raleigh’s first distillery and kitchen offering craft cocktails, spirits, & delicious, locally-sourced food.

Our favorite bartenders, Celebration Sidekicks were on the scene to help serve our guests + deliver beautifully crafted event rentals! Both the whiskey barrel bar and the wooden pallet bar and the gorgeous barn doors can all be rented from Celebration Sidekicks your source for bartenders, servers, and rentals.

Paragon Theatres + The Agency Bar & Social took our VIP Lounge to the next level! Offering beer, wine, and signature cocktails plus a major food spread for our guests to enjoy. Paragon Theatres was such an amazing supporter, VIPs received a complimentary movie ticket + are working with The Women’s Center for some exciting fundraising opportunities in addition to experiences for the women they serve.

Food and Beverage

In addition to Fenton’s growing lists of restaurants and bars, we had several pop up on the Square so Raleigh Fashion Fest guests could sip & nibble while shopping the event.

The Main Event

Adam Lee Decker Trio kept the crowd moving and grooving all night long with their stellar live performance on the Square. Adam Decker is a local celebrity often found at music venues around the Triangle + Carolina Hurricanes Games + does weddings and private events with customized playlists.

DJ Supr Dupr Man, Eric Davis brought the house down as Models for Charity took the runway on the main stage on Fenton Square. The Fashion Show featured looks not only for women but men as well from 21 boutiques and accessory lines. The show ran twice at 6pm and again at 8pm.

Beauty Enhancements

Once you have your drinks, clothes, and accessories, the only thing missing is some beauty enhancement and self-care! We have partnered with award-winning plastic surgeons, day spas, and skin centers as your go-to when you need a little me-time!

Azura Skin is your Cary, NC, luxury medical spa offering a full range of cosmetic services, facials, injectables, laser hair removal, spa products and so much more. Medical procedures are performed by Dr. Angelo Tellis.

Blue Water Spa Aesthetic Laser Center is located in Raleigh and has you covered when it comes to fillers, injectables, spas services, facials, body treatments, laser services, and more by performed by Dr. Micahel Law.
